Collard Greens & Potato Soup

A healthy warm soup that helps with younger-looking skin. Collard greens are considered to be one of the most nutritional foods that consist of various vitamins such as Vitamin C, A, E, K and different types of Vitamin B. Consumption of collard greens helps in flushing out the toxic substances from the body.


  • 5 - 6 medium white potatoes

  • 1 bunch of collard greens 

  • 3 garlic gloves

  • 1 quart of chicken stock 

  • Salt & pepper to taste 


  • Peel potatoes, and cut them in sections. 

  • Wash collard green and remove spine. Roll Collard Green leaves together and slice in strips. 

  • Boil potatoes and garlic in chicken stock until potatoes are softened.

  • Add the collard greens to the stock and boil until tender.

  • Remove from heat and cool several minutes. 

  • In small batches, blender potatoes and greens with half the boiled stock. 

  • Add additional stock to desired consistency.
