Spinach, Avocado, Pomegranate & Lentil Salad

This salad is one of my favorites. It is full of healthy ingredients, and really quick to make. Lentils are great due to the high-protein content, and are rich in nutrients.
Some of the benefits include the ability to improve and maintain heart health, help you lose weigh, fight blood sugar fluctuations that can lead a diabetes or low energy levels, and improve the digestive health.
1 cup boiled lentils - I use Trader Joe's steamed lentils. (Ready to eat warm or cold).
1 ripe avocado, chopped
2 handfuls of spinach leaves
Juice of 1 lemon
salt to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds.
